We changed a motherboard in our HP DL360 G9 server and couldn’t log in into iLO but there was working VMWARE ESXi 7 system and we reset it via SSH ESXi console.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. You need to download HP Lights-Out Online Configuration Utility for Linux (x86\/AMD32)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Unpack it and find files hponcfg and lib…so. Upload it to an ESXi storage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Place the lib-file to \/usr\/lib\/<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Create an xml file like that and replace newpass with your new password. It must be long enough, 8+ symbols. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
